Our client in Edmonton is seeking a contract Project Accountant with 3+ years of experience to support project-based financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience working with SAP, Ariba, Track, and OpenInvoice systems
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
Microsoft D365 experience is an asset
Available to start immediately

Financial reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis
Manage revenue, expenses, and multiple project costings
Work with AP and Branch Admin to ensure accurate invoicing and approvals
Partner with managers to improve forecasting accuracy
Support turnaround/shutdown events (occasional travel required)
Assist with accruals, audits, and ad hoc financial reports
Ad-hoc duties as requested
