The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Site Administrator, to support the Project Team (including the Program Manager, Project Manager and Project Engineers) on our Williamsdale Battery project in Williamsdale ACT. As a Site Administrator you will be the most organised person in the office and thrive in a varied environment where you will use your excellent time management skills to keep on top of various tasks and keep the project moving. The Williamsdale BESS is an exciting project to be a part of as it will store enough renewable energy to power one third of Canberra for 2 hours, increasing energy, security and reliability for Canberrans.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Manage project expenses
  • Maintain various registers and databases
  • Coordinate travel, meetings and events relating to projects
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team as required
  • General document control and managing records

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL POSSESS:

  • Experience working in a similar role (an project engineering firm or construction industry would be beneficial)
  • Be based local to the project - no FIFO
  • Certificate III in Business Administration (desirable)
  • An understanding of business operation and best practices
  • Advanced user in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • A logical, organised and practical approach to work
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to liaise with a variety of clients, office & site-based staff, suppliers and subcontractors
  • A strong desire to improve and develop in areas that will contribute to a better outcome for all
  • A friendly, positive and professional customer-focused attitude
