JOB OVERVIEW

This position plays an integral role in supporting Bid Division Project Manager(s) in administrative aspects of the business cycle such as timely review and approval of all projects payables and receivables, owning the division master project tracker, review and addressing client requests, project change orders, and scheduling field staff and vendor work deliverables.
Responsible for preparing formal company documents and facilitating communication between the Project Manager and other internal and external contacts including the President, Project Manager, Controller, Engineers, Property Managers, Board Members, Trade Partners and Field Staff.
This position will also be responsible for reaching out to different trades to obtain quotes on projects in preparation for bid submissions. Additionally, the successful candidate will be submitting bids to various opportunities including jobs from the City of Calgary, engineering firms, and other organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma and 2+ years’ experience working in an office setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Able to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
