ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience providing administrative support in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to co-operate with others to solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • An understanding of the Portuguese language would be an advantage, but not essential.
Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

Gaeltec Utilities are seeking a full time Administrator within our Overhead Lines (OHL) Team to provide administrative support. The successful candidate will be a central part of the team, with strong administration and analytical skills, along with excellent communication skills.
Initial training for the role will be completed in Kilkenny.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing administrative support to the team, including record keeping, meeting management, document control and report preparation.
  • Responsible for handling project documentation and correspondence in support of one or more managers.
  • Co-ordinate and process purchase requests and relevant documentation in line with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Administration of databases input of data, and collation of records.
  • Prepare communications, such as emails, reports, and other correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Additional administration duties or ad hoc projects as they arise.
