Description
At Harnest, we're Built for Impact - and we build for it. As Part of the Mazzei Group, Harnest is one of Victoria's leading providers of social and affordable housing, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and medium-density developments, creating homes, stronger communities and lasting social value. We deliver more than homes — we create stronger local communities, support local industry and generate lasting social value. Backed by the strength, standards and capability of Mazzei Group, Harnest combines commercial discipline with a deeply human purpose. We partner closely with Hones Victoria, local government, project teams, community organisations and social benefit suppliers to deliver quality housing outcomes through trusted relationships, disciplined delivery and genuine care. The Opportunity Provide proactive, end to end project and operational support across the Project Management Office (PMO) including the Head of PMO, Project Managers & Project Coordinators. You’ll sit at the centre of operations - coordinating governance, supporting commercial processes, managing documentation, and helping drive consistency across the project lifecycle. Coordinate agenda preparation, action tracking, and updates for risk, schedule, program reviews and status reporting. Prepare reporting packs and dashboards for the Head of PMO and Directors. Compile handover/O&M manuals and close out packs. Coordinate meetings, site access, inductions and logistics with internal and external stakeholders. Attend site or supplier meetings where required to capture minutes, decisions, actions and drive close-out. Champion standardised templates and drive adoption across the PMO. Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose improvements. About You Experience in a construction, property, or project environment. Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail across documentation and reporting. Basic understanding of construction processes (contracts, variations, procurement). Confident using MS Office + project/document systems (e.g. SharePoint, MS Project, ERP tools). Proactive, solutions focused and able to operate independently. Why Harnest and Mazzei Group? Join a new PMO function — opportunity to shape processes and systems. Exposure to full project lifecycle — from pre-con to delivery and close-out. Long-term career growth as Harnest continues to scale. Central City Location close to coffee shops & food. A small, close-knit office with a highly supportive team culture. Enjoy a weekly delivery of fresh fruit in the office. Be part of a growing, purpose-driven builder making real community impact. Work across meaningful housing projects (social, affordable, SDA). At Mazzei Group, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and supported to thrive. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
