Our client, NB Power, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Administrator based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick. This is a 6 month temporary position with 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. This position is planned to begin September 17, 2025 and end March 14, 2026. POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Project Administrator acts on behalf of NB Power and primarily supports the administrative duties within a project team in the execution of the project activities. The day-to-day role may include tasks such scheduling meetings, organizing events, maintaining issue logs and risk registers, follow ups, taking meeting minutes, reporting and documentation management. The Project Administrator also provides administrative support and coordination for projects and executes work based on priorities set by the Project Manager or delegate and meets deadlines while preserving the high level of accuracy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES:

Willing to work at NB Power Head Office 515 King St.
Candidate is local to Fredericton, NB
A high degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite especially MS Excel, & Word
A College Diploma or equivalent experience
Project environment experience

Responsibilities

Supports the Project Manager in administrative tasks for the project
Manages Project Repository, project documentation and information requests
Coordinate key project meetings, ensuring agendas and minutes are managed and stored on project site
Supports PM and project team in regular reviews, reporting and publishing of updates to the team and organization
Coordinates onboarding of new team members
Assisting in the preparation of letters, reports, mailouts, etc.
Maintain and provide document numbers
Initiate and manage document review workflow
Quality Checks
Liaise with consultants to ensure documents reviews are timely
Storage of documents in ProjectWise
Support Project Team with retrieving and storing documents

Ad hoc duties, as required

  • Mandatory Qualifications:

A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in project management environments and administration experience.
Experience with Bentley ProjectWise or any other document workflow management software
