Description:

The Project Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Civil Earthworks department by providing administrative assistance to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role involves maintaining project documentation, coordinating with clients, and assisting in the smooth execution of project activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field an asset
  • 2 years of experience in a project support or administrative role within the Civil Earthworks industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to showcase strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record

Responsibilities:

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for civil construction activities
  • Monitor and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with milestones and deadlines
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, and change orders
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of permits, inspections, and compliance documentation
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate updates and changes to all relevant parties to ensure alignment on project goals
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and financial forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and environmental guidelines on all projects
