OPPORTUNITY:

The Project Administrator will prepare progress reports, schedules, milestones and monitor progress while managing multiple projects. The Project Administrator will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations and standards.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with small to medium-sized construction projects as a general or sub-contractor.
  • Prior experience in project coordination or administration is preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural technologies, or construction management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of leading with strong organization, time management and people management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Projects.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and reports, purchase orders and change orders, etc. while complying with company standards and specifications.
  • Assist with the procurement of materials required for multiple projects.
  • Support project managers in daily operations and project planning.
  • Assist in developing the scope of work, specifications, and budget summaries.
  • Maintain established relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Maintain organization of project files, ensuring ease of access to necessary information.
