The Role
The Project Analyst, Reporting is a key member of the Project Controls team, working directly with divisional leadership. They are responsible for structuring, consolidating, and analyzing project data to provide accurate and timely data on project performance. The analyst plays a key role in improving data and ensures leadership receives accurate, timely and automated reporting across all projects for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration of Project Data
  • Support baseline efforts to link P6 activities, work package progress, and financial milestones.
  • Collaborate with project schedulers and project managers to align P6 scheduling data with project cost tracking and reporting.

Monthly Reporting

  • Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly project health reports outlining project performance, including cost and schedule metrics, variance analysis, risks and baseline status.
  • Provide insight into project execution trends that affect delivery.
  • Report on contract changes and other key performance indicators (KPIs) the business requires to enhance project efforts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting is aligned with divisional and organizational standards.

Data and Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data integration and project controls efficiency.
  • Standardize data collection and reporting processes across Epicor, P6, and Jira.
  • Collaborate with Systems Delivery and other divisions to streamline workflows and tools.

Training and Support

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 - 3 years with analyst experience in a project delivery organization.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly accurate; data structuring, validation and reporting; advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; working knowledge of project management methodologies.
