POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Project Analyst – Telecom Business Audit to join our high-impact team of three that collectively drives millions in cost and time savings annually for our Enterprise Telecom accounts. This business-critical role plays a pivotal part in controlling costs, ensuring contract compliance, and maximizing value from our telecom vendors.
The successful candidate will audit telecom fixed invoicing against contractual terms, verify usage against circuit and line inventory, identify and resolve billing discrepancies, and work directly with telecom vendors and engineers to secure credits for service interruptions. This position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex service contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Audit invoices against executed contracts, orders, and internal monitoring tools to identify billing and inventory discrepancies.
  • Review telecom contracts and pricing to ensure compliance with Internal Audit regulations and company policies.
  • Partner with telecom engineers to analyze vendor network availability reports and secure credits for service interruptions that breach contractual terms.
  • Research monthly telecom cost increases and savings; identify opportunities for additional cost reductions.
  • Create, review, and maintain ad hoc reports using TEM tools, Excel, Access, and other data analysis platforms.
  • Conduct deep-dive audits on telecom-specific expenses, including contract and invoicing analysis.
  • Dispute billing discrepancies directly with vendors to recover costs.
  • Reconcile invoices, ensure contract deliverables are met, and analyze billing processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support domestic and international Telecom Expense Management (TEM) programs.
