This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a strong interest in project management practices, reporting, and providing structured support to project managers and teams. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support the delivery of multiple international projects, ensuring alignment with internal controls, standards, and project governance frameworks. This position offers exposure to a dynamic portfolio of global initiatives and the opportunity to build foundational skills in a professional and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support the Regional Project Manager(s) and report directly to the Regional Lead. Assist and contribute to a defined portfolio of projects, collaborating with Project Managers and teams to help ensure successful execution. Ensure all internal project governance controls, reporting standards, and processes are followed consistently. Prepare and distribute internal project reports according to published schedules. Provide administrative support across project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation. Help develop and maintain project management standards, guidelines, and templates based on Hitachi’s Consensus methodology. Support the creation and management of change control documentation and statements of work. Track project progress and timelines by monitoring deliverables, milestones, and action items. Facilitate meeting scheduling, presentation preparation, and project documentation review. Ensure forecasting processes are aligned with group standards by assisting in data collection and coordination. Monitor compliance with reporting cycles and support the creation of regular project status reports. Assist in the completion of quarterly QA Review Questionnaires and ensure readiness for reviews. Maintain up-to-date project repositories and SharePoint lists (e.g., risks, issues, change requests). Qualifications Key Competencies Fluency in German and English (written and spoken). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook). Ability to produce clear, professional documentation and presentations. Strong organizational and time management skills. High attention to detail with a proactive and flexible mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective prioritization and ability to switch quickly between different types of tasks. Analytical and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments. Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude. University degree.
