Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Early Career Researchers (ECRs) are a vital part of making Imperial’s mission a reality. To attract, nurture and empower the next generation of outstanding Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine, and Business (STEMB) research talent, ECRI aims to create a collaborative and dynamic research environment that drives discovery and addresses the urgent challenges of the 21st century.
Through its work to strengthen the national and international impact of ECRs and its comprehensive programme of tailored support and development opportunities, ECRI will contribute towards the creation of a healthy, supportive and productive research environment at Imperial.
ECRI offers a broad range of ECR support and development opportunities, but provision also extends to other stakeholders who are part of the research ecosystem, including supervisors and line managers of research staff. Learning and development opportunities are multi-mode, delivered both on-site and at external venues in the UK and abroad. Typically, ECRI offers courses, programmes, tailored group and individual support, events and resources.
The ECRI Project and Network Manager will play a vital role in supporting ECRI to carry out its mission.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

The Project and Network Manager will lead and manage ECRI projects, ECRI-led networks and the management of ECR starters and leavers processes and inductions.

THIS IS A FULL-TIME, OPEN-ENDED ROLE BASED AT THE SOUTH KENSINGTON CAMPUS.
