Salary range: $88,483 to $96,733 per annum + 13% superannuation.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for urban design and placemaking. This role involves leading and collaborating on projects that will transform the City of Hobart, ensuring alignment with our Community Vision. You will drive initiatives that shape the city’s growth, applying best practice to create vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive spaces.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Research and prepare discussion papers and briefing documents, providing strategic advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop policies and guidelines through research and data analysis.
  • Manage and deliver built environment projects, coordinating staff.
  • Collaborate with the community, consultants, contractors, and agencies.
  • Undertake contract, budgetary, project timeline planning and risk management tasks.
