Job Summary:
Projects and Professional Service Manager - Role Purpose: The primary goal of this role is to drive the successful delivery of change orders, ensuring they align with business objectives and client needs while achieving quarterly targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Project Management function, leading change order execution and new logo contract onboarding.
Oversee the Deployment Technician function, leading change order execution.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering engagement, accountability, and career growth to support organizational goals.
Reporting: This role reports to the Head of UK Operations.

Role Purpose:

  • Drive the successful delivery of change orders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs while achieving quarterly targets.
  • Oversee the Project Management function leading change order execution and new logo contract onboarding.
  • Oversee Deployment Technician function leading change order execution.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Responsible for execution of Trellint’s change order initiatives ensuring successful delivery of change orders and customer alignment while driving business targets and fostering team growth.
  • Oversee the management and delivery of change orders, ensuring business targets are consistently achieved against agreed targets.
  • Provide leadership to the Professional Services (PS) and Project Management colleagues, driving high-performance, fostering team engagement and career development for all team members.
  • Responsible for overseeing contract implementations managed by project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Track and forecast team workloads, adjusting resources as necessary to meet business demands.
  • Utilise Monday.com for effective management of change orders, identifying opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide visibility for senior management.
  • Work closely with IT, Product, Operations, and Client Teams to develop thorough requirements, documentation and clear understanding of expected results
  • Collaborate and communicate with leadership and technical teams to ensure the alignment of deliverables and develop a release schedule
  • Collaborate with leadership on change management and other existing governance frameworks to ensure compliance and meet quality standards
  • Ensure timely closure of projects and facilitate lessons learned/retrospectives
  • Demonstrate experience resolving conflicts and escalating issues appropriately
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and help manage project expectations
  • Proven ability to identify and manage project risks and develop contingency plans
  • Strong foundational understanding of both Agile and Waterfall with the ability to apply each method as appropriate to project context

Person Specification
Education/Qualification
Degree level or equivalent qualification. Relevant significant experience in a comparable role, acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • A proven track record of leading successful delivery of medium to large, multi-team IT projects (minimum of 3 or more consecutive years’ experience)
  • In depth knowledge of tools like Monday.com or similar platforms for project tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on Client alignment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to forecast and manage resources effectively.
  • Market awareness and the ability to identify and respond to competitive trends.
  • Confident leader capable of providing strategic direction, coaching, and guidance to colleagues across the business.
  • Broad knowledge of Project Management systems and technology, advantageous.
  • Previous experience in operational management with the ability and confidence to make decisions leading to clear targets and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced with change management processes and confident in enacting positive changes to processes.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy.
  • Self-motivated individual, tenacious and innovative, able to see the bigger picture and continuously improving operational delivery.
  • High level of personal integrity, who displays respect and empathy for others and is consistent, whilst understanding the impact of own actions on colleagues.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and other commonly used Microsoft 365 Tools
  • Agile certification is a plus (e.g., Certified Scrum Master or PMI-ACP)
  • Transportation industry experience a plus
  • Creative and analytical thinking style, applying tenacity in the face of obstacles.

Additional Information

  • There may be occasions where the post holder is required to work outside of standard hours.
  • The post holder may be required to attend meetings and events outside of normal office base and to do this occasional travel will be required.
