This is your opportunity to work with a team of dedicated, creative and fun architects and designers on award winning projects.
The Healthcare Project Architect, as a technical quality leader within a design team, should have technical expertise in architectural design, construction documents, construction, building codes and project coordination issues associated with diverse project types ideally with the delivery of Healthcare projects.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent educational experience.
  • Be a registered Architect in the State of California.
  • Have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a professional architectural office setting.
  • Have good to excellent Revit knowledge as well as MS Suite.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in Health Care or Science and Technology a strong plus.

They should be able to:

  • Effectively coordinates their own work and the work of others using BIM and other design technology tools.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with design intent, and that their work, and the work they supervise, is completed efficiently as planned.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager or Project Architect to ensure project resources are scheduled and used effectively.
  • Have good working knowledge of project staffing, budgets, and task management.
  • Communicate with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and project team to clarify technical issues and share project information with project team.
  • Produce design and construction documents, and active works towards a complete understanding of jurisdictional code issues and resolutions
  • Actively participates in researching construction materials, assemblies, and details.
  • Be responsible for quality control of their own work and knowledge of and maintaining Taylor Design office standards for documentation.
  • Participate in the on-going development of firm wide BIM applications, tools, templates, and processes.
  • Actively participate in QA reviews of technical documents.
