THE OPPORTUNITY Omicron seeks a Project Architect to lead production of technical documentation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading individual project teams and coordinating with others in a multi-disciplinary team. Omicron values experience with design-build or Construction Management projects as well as diversity in your portfolio of work.   WHAT YOU’LL BRING  * Post-secondary education in Architecture and registered or eligible for registration with the AIBC * 10 years' work experience * Must be comfortable working in Revit * High level of familiarity with BCBC and VBBL  * Comfortable working as project lead through all phases of the project and engaging directly with clients, contractors, and consultants  * Experience working with both private and public sector client groups is an asset * Adept at problem solving and collaboration  * Good written and oral communication skills  * Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams at both design and construction stages  * Comfortable supervising staff in all areas of practice as Architect of Record  * Preference for candidates with LEED / Passivhaus / Zero-Carbon building experience. * Preference for experience with design-build or construction management projects A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US Omicron is one of the largest integrated development, design and construction firms in Western Canada, providing solutions to clients in the Industrial, Institutional, Building Renewal, Commercial, Retail and Residential sectors.
