Artistree Home is looking to hire a remote Project Architect (PA) / Project Manager: for a number of upcoming nature-centered hospitality projects and award-winning residential treehouses. The PA/PM ideally would be licensed to practice architecture in the state of California or Texas, or be eligible for immediate reciprocity in one of those states. Candidates will start as an hourly employee on a project-to-project basis, with full-time employment available immediately for the right candidate. Our ideal candidate is value-aligned with Artistree Home’s mission and interested in growing with us long-term.
The PA shall provide technical expertise for Artistree’s design services. Reporting to the Head of Design, the PA may act as the Architect-of-Record for select Artistree design projects that require licensure and oversee completion of submittal plan sets in compliance with the applicable codes.

Location:
Artistree is based out of Sonoma County, CA and Austin, TX, with a fabrication workshop near Chattanooga, TN. This position is remote but requires residency in CA, TX, or GA. Preference given to applicants in the Austin, Texas or Central Texas area. Ideal applicants are able to travel to perform Construction Administration tasks as needed (likely 3-5 projects in 2025). Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English proficiency and be authorized to work in the USA.
