In Professional Services, we support the University’s research and teaching, offering many career and role specialisms.   The Opportunity: The Project Archivist (Salvesen) will catalogue and promote the Archives of Christian Salvesen Ltd. through the Archives Revealed Funded Project ‘The Last Catch: Surfacing Stories from the Salvesen Whaling Archive’. Library & University Collections deliver highly-regarded services to support teaching, learning and research across the University and wider communities. Services and access to collections are provided online and onsite through the Main Library, site libraries, the Centre for Research Collections, award-winning makerspace services and St Cecilia’s Hall Concert Room & Music Museum.
Responsibilities
The Project Archivist will catalogue and promote the Archives of Christian Salvesen Ltd as part of the 'The Last Catch' project. Responsibilities include reviewing data protection restrictions and collaborating with project partners to deliver engagement activities.
