ROLE PROFILE TITLE: Project Assistant (Food Security and Livelihoods) (FOR INTERNAL STAFF ONLY) TEAM/PROGRAMME: Program Implementation (Child Poverty/ FSL)     LOCATION: Central Myanmar Number of Position: 3 GRADE: NAT- 5     CONTRACT LENGTH: Fixed Term CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the vetting process staff. ROLE PURPOSE: To facilitate the effective and successful planning, distribution, monitoring and evaluation of cash-for-food assistance and other humanitarian activities at targeted townships in Sagaing Region in close collaboration with volunteers and CBO/CSOs under supervision of Project Coordinator. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly. SCOPE OF ROLE: Reports to: Project Coordinator (FSL) Staff directly reporting to this post: NA Financial Approval: NA Travel: Frequent (Over 10 days per month) KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:   Program Delivery: •    Conduct update data collection and data entry and assist in design of project activities in line with agreed work plan •    Ensure community mobilisation and facilitate community-based project activities through regular interaction with individuals in conflict affected area •    Ensure the volunteers maintain good distribution management practices •    Conduct the IDP registration / PDM / Market Assessment, Beneficiary Registration and relevant information collecting •    Facilitate community dialogue sessions in close coordination and collaboration with volunteers and village committees •    Prepare the cash-for-food assistance packages with standard guidance and procedures •    Assist and facilitate capacity building workshops or training for variety of stakeholders, Camp leaders, committees and volunteers including CBO/CSO/partner members •    Assist supervisor in preparing township work plan and budget estimation. •    Assist in managing volunteers and supporting camp management committees •    Assist in update IDPs tracker and identifying gap and needed of each target places •    Monitor and collect case study/success stories for project activities. •    Maintain and collect required project documents properly and check the data •    Assist to supervisor for monthly /quarterly workplan and reporting process •    Regularly report biweekly updates to the PC on local situations and key developments in the villages •    Thoroughly review and verify data to ensure accuracy and prevent errors in records. •    Submit monthly output report to line manager timely and precisely manner. •    Any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor. Child Safeguarding and Counter Fraud responsibilities •    Take all necessary and appropriate steps to prevent fraud, bribery, and corruption within their areas of responsibility, report and respond to all incidents and concerns and comply with the Counter-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Policy and Procedure.
