The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Associate Director, Governance, Policy, Planning, Registration, IT and AI Strategy across diverse projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Associate Director, you will provide support and assistance with research, project proposals, project plans, budgets, timelines, meeting agendas, minutes and action lists. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic and confidential administration support which includes managing meeting requests, fielding incoming correspondence, drafting outgoing correspondence, assisting with travel arrangements and expense reconciliations, and tracking tasks and deadlines.
  • Assisting with the development of key business documents including policies, briefing papers, business plans, reports and presentations, and assisting with the preparation of Trustee and committee agenda papers.
  • Ensuring that information is created and managed according to the Information Management policy and procedures, including compliance with privacy and data security requirements and maintaining stakeholder contact details within the NGV’s database for the Governance, Policy & Planning department
