CUHK Business School Project Assistant II (Academic Affairs and Student Support), Office of Undergraduate Studies The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. CUHK Business School (Undergraduate Office), a vibrant and energetic office, is looking for a Project Assistant II to join the team. The major responsibility of the appointee is to provide administrative support to undergraduate business programmes offered by the School and in collaboration with international leading business schools. They are flagship programmes which attract high flyers locally and globally every year. The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing support in academic, curriculum and student matters, including handling student enquiries; (b) liaising with internal and external units on student development programmes, such as overseas study trips, student exchange, workshops, and events; (c) assisting in admission exercises and student recruitment activities; and (d) performing other duties as assigned. Working outside office hours or at weekends to support activities and events may be required. Applicants should have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (ii) a Bachelor’s degree; (iii) fast and accurate typing skill; (iv) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua); (v) the ability to work in a dynamic team as a flexible team player; (vi) good problem-solving, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; (vii) high self-motivation with a student-oriented mindset, and the ability to work under pressure and multitask with tight deadlines; (viii) a strong sense of self-responsibility and ownership at work; and (ix) proficiency in computer applications (including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Having solid experience in programme administration and event management will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for written test(s), computer skills test(s) and/or interview(s), as appropriate.
