Organizational Context and Scope The Regional Responses to Climate Displacements in Sub-Saharan Africa (RE2CLID) project aims to enhance the resilience and self-reliance of Displacement-Affected Communities (DACs) in Sub-Saharan Africa who face the risks of disasters, the adverse effects of climate change and environmental degradation. This initiative targets the highly vulnerable displacement affected communities in Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Countries, namely Malawi, Mozambique, Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius and Seychelles (i.e. Cluster 2). Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager of the RE2CLID project in Madagascar and the direct supervision of the RE2CLID Project Officer in Madagascar and in close collaboration with the RE2CLID SAIO Programme Coordinator in Malawi and relevant parties, including the IOM team in country, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for supporting the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project activities of the RE2CLID project in Madagascar.  
Responsibilities
The Project Assistant will support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities for the RE2CLID project in Madagascar. They will coordinate logistics for workshops and outreach events while liaising with local stakeholders and government authorities.
