Description Job Summary Provide appropriate assistance management for operations of the Maintenance Department. Works within to develop effective PM program and accurate asset database with CMMS. Essential Functions: Uses CMMS to log and maintain documentation of maintenance/engineering labor reporting and asset history Assist with identifying projects, accurately and completely tracking all material and labor costs using the available ERP and maintenance tools Read and interpret machine and building blueprints Delegate and/or complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner Supports continuous improvement projects assigned to the maintenance group Maintains an accurate database within CMMS of used machine and asset parts Maintains accurate database of all capital assets, vendors and contacts within CMMS Maintains accurate inventory of equipment manuals and drawings Coordinates with Production Planning and Reliability Engineer to plan resources, schedule line time, prepare 3rd party technicians and parts for preventive maintenance activities Works with OEM, Plant Engineer and Reliability Engineer to document an effective PM task list and frequency Assist with inventory of machine parts in spare part room Corresponds with vendors and outsource companies as required by Reliability Engineer Engineer and draw minor prints for outsource to machine shops Report problems and potential solutions regarding the efficiency and functionality of production assets Understand and comply with all lockout/tagout procedures Provide appropriate buildings and grounds maintenance as needed Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Proficient with Microsoft Office products Proficient with CMMS software Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of maintenance experience Experience with MainSmart (CMMS software) Requirements Work Requirements: Proficient interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Must work in a safe and ethical manner at all times Strong organizational skills to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
