FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES OFFICE OF THE DEAN OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES Project Assistant (Research Administration) (25260795)  The Faculty is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Assistant to provide support in research administrative activities. Reporting to the Faculty Research Senior Manager, the qualified candidate will contribute to the delivery of faculty-led initiatives and ensure the smooth flow of projects, data accuracy, and timely deliverables.   Responsibilities: * Research Administration Support * Assist with research data collection, processing, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance; * Provide guidance to departments on research-related administrative matters; and * Prepare reports, funding application, and analyses as required.    * Postgraduate Research Support * Support administrative processes for Research Postgraduate (RPg) programmes, including student enquires, document preparation, and data management; and * Collaborate with academic units to ensure alignment with institutional guidelines and deadlines.    * Research Events and Outreach Coordination * Assist in planning and organising faculty research events, workshops, and conferences; * Liaise with and maintain clear communication with internal and external research reviewers, guest speakers, and collaborators; * Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and deliverables; and * Perform other duties as assigned.   Requirements: * A recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience; * Professional fluency in both Chinese and English; * Excellent organisational and project management skills; * Experience in data collection, handling, management, and visualisation for the purpose of drafting/finalising funding proposals/research is preferred; * Self-driven, proactive, good communication and interpersonal skills; and * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
