Organizational Context and Scope IOM Comoros is implementing the European Union funded project “Strengthening the national system for emergency care and community-based protection of vulnerable migrants in the Comoros.”, whose overall objective is to stablish an emergency response and protection system for the most vulnerable migrants by reinforcing institutional, community and operational capacities, in order to safeguard the fundamental rights of women, children and other at-risk groups exposed to detention, violence, exploitation, abuse, neglect and risks of trafficking; and is recruiting a Project Associate for its Country Office in Moroni. Under the direct supervision of the Head of Office (HoO) in Comoros, the Project Associate will carry out the following duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
The Project Associate will support the implementation of a project focused on establishing an emergency response and protection system for vulnerable migrants in Comoros, reinforcing institutional, community, and operational capacities.
