JOB DESCRIPTION

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Bridge Design Engineer III in Houston, TX.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Bridge Engineering related occupation.
• Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 5 years of experience in a Bridge Engineering related occupation.
  Position requires experience in the following:
  Designing highway bridges using both concrete and steel elements.
  Using TxDOT manuals and software including Bridge Design Manual, Bridge Design Guide, Bridge Detailing Guide, Geotechnical Manual, BridgeLink/PGSuper, BGS and Wincore.
  Using AASHTO LRFD BDM.
  Using bridge design software: OpenBridge Modeler and OpenBridge Designer including Leap Bridge Steel and Concrete
  Post-tension design using Midas
  LPile
  spColumn
  Microstation
  Designing Retaining Walls and Drainage structures
  Training others in use of these tools
  Texas Professional Engineer license
