Description
Performs the end-to-end purchasing activities guaranteeing quality, cost and lead-time, in compliance with Suez procurement/ company policies, HSE and Ethics standards. Performs activities of purchasing goods & services based on defined constraints as cost, quality and deadlines. Negotiates and commits to purchases of goods and services, in accordance with the set objectives. Implements the purchasing strategy and manages his/her procurement packages in compliance with Project constraints. Coordinates his/her actions and commitments with categories managers and/ or SCPM. Identifies and manages procurement risks and opportunities and ensures suppliers qualification as per SRM policy. Deals exclusively with the supplier relationship (sourcing, assessment, evaluation, claims) and ensures interface with both internal (engineering, proposal) and external stakeholders. Contributes to the steering of the processes, to its evolution (REX) and guarantees its implementation on his / her scope. Reports to the SCPM and the line Manager on his/her share of the project activity and KPI. Identifies new vendors, qualify them, assesses them and takes corrective actions when necessary. Builds the contract with the supplier based on Group templates and negotiation. Is responsible for enforcing the law, behaving with moral and ethics before the society and all the stakeholders. Respects all Group standard policies (H&S, Environment, Ethics and compliance with internal reporting rules. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree of any course preferably Engineering or Supply Chain Management. With license is an advantage but not required. At least 3-years’ experience in the water/wastewater treatment sector; preferred but not required, or at least from Oil and Gas – Engineering, Procurement & Construction. At least 5-years’ experience in end-to-end procurement process of goods and services - bidding, negotiation, contract administration, accreditation of vendors, expediting, logistics and material management for the Project. With good network with suppliers and vendors related to water/wastewater treatment sector. Meticulous and detail-oriented. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Capable of working independently under minimal supervision and able to deliver outputs with good quality. Has strong sense of ownership in deliverable/ report preparation. Good team player- Able to work under pressure. Has a good sense for decision making.
