Description
Department of Management Project Co-ordinator II [carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Manager, Alumni Affairs and Relations, Master of Science in Management (MiM) Programme’] The Office of the MiM Programme under the Department of Management is now looking for a high-calibre candidate to join the team. The appointee will work alongside a dynamic team, leading the rapid development of the Programme. The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support for the Programme’s alumni affairs; (b) co-ordinating and organising alumni events and activities; (c) providing excellent alumni services and building good relationship with alumni; (d) working with the Programme Manager to come up with proposals and plans on enhancing alumni relations; (e) preparing required documents for Programme ranking, review and accreditation; (f) creating social media content to engage students and alumni of the Programme; (g) performing general administrative duties and maintaining alumni database; and (h) performing other duties as assigned. Occasional overseas travel and working at flexible hours will be required. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 1 year’s post-qualification work experience, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iii) excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; (iv) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) a proactive, self-motivated and committed work attitude; (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member, with a strong sense of responsibility; and (vii) a good level of computer proficiency. Having experience in external relations and prior work experience in Chinese Mainland will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Responsibilities
