CUHK Business School Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Manager’), Career Development and Corporate Engagement Office The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The Career Development and Corporate Engagement Office (CDCEO) spearheads corporate partnerships and academic-industry collaboration. This role is pivotal in bridging the School’s academic excellence with regional industry needs, driving employability initiatives, and securing strategic opportunities for students and the Faculty. The appointee will develop and deliver comprehensive career development programmes that empower Master’s students to achieve their career goals and sustain strong employment outcomes. Reporting to the Administrative Director of the CDCEO or her designate, the appointee will be responsible for (a) developing a thorough understanding of the needs of each programme and its students, and working as a liaison between programmes, students, trainers and the CDCEO; (b) proactively sourcing and communicating with external trainers, and maintaining connections for future workshop needs; (c) developing and organising workshops, events, and student activities; (d) managing graduate employment surveys in collaboration with programme teams; (e) managing day-to-day communication with programmes and sustaining ongoing relationships in relation to current and upcoming events; (f) being part of the development team of the CRM system; (g) handling enquiries and relevant operations related to student scholarships; and (h) handling various projects and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Working at flexible hours, including weekends, and business travel will be required. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 to 3 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in Project Management, Account Management or Customer Service; (iii) sound commercial sense and a customer-service-oriented mindset; (iv) good knowledge of current employment trends in the Greater Bay Area; (v) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (vi) excellent communication and presentation skills. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written test(s). Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
