CUHK Business School Project Co-ordinator II [carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Manager, Event and Communications’], Marketing and Communications Office The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The Marketing and Communications Office plays a crucial role in building and maintaining the School’s brand and reputation through promoting its thought leadership globally, creating and reinforcing consistent messaging to the public, developing and driving implementation of communications plans and strategies across multiple channels, providing guidance and advice on effective internal and external communications and issues management, and establishing lasting connections with the School’s community. The appointee will be responsible for (a) event management and speaking engagement, including stakeholders’ liaison, promotion, execution, and post-event reporting; (b) bilingual content production in English and Chinese, including ideation and copywriting for School news and newsletters; (c) website content management, ensuring timely and accurate updates; (d) the review of content and design produced by vendors and internal stakeholders; (e) project management, including time and budget management; and (f) performing other impromptu duties as assigned. Working at flexible hours may be required. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, Event Marketing, Marketing or related disciplines; (ii) at least 4 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in corporate communications, event management, public relations, advertising or related fields; (iii) excellent organisational, project management, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills, along with good team spirit, a can-do, proactive, agile, independent, and detail-oriented work attitude; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); and (v) proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Having experience with Adobe applications and WordPress will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written test(s).
