CUHK Business School Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Manager’), Office of Taught Postgraduate Programmes The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with over 5,000 students from 30+ countries/regions, as well as executive education. The Office of Taught Postgraduate Programmes oversees and co-ordinates admissions exercise, student recruitment, student matters and exchange opportunities of taught postgraduate programmes in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. The Office is looking for an administrator to provide administrative support to admissions and student matters of the taught postgraduate programmes. Reporting to the Administrative Director or her designate, the appointee will be responsible for (a) developing a thorough understanding of the needs of each programme and students, and work as a liaison between programmes, students and the Office; (b) planning and organising student-focused events and activities, including orientation, workshops, networking events, enrichment programmes, and sporting events; (c) liaising and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and vendors; (d) managing day-to-day communications with programmes and ongoing relationships as it related to current and upcoming events; (e) monitoring student participation and maintaining records related to student activities to support reporting and programme evaluation; and (f) handling various projects and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor. Working at flexible hours, including weekends, and business travel will be required. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in event coordination or project management; (iii) experience in organising sporting events or a strong interest in sports will be an advantage; (iv) excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills; (v) a strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team; (vi) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including simplified Chinese), with fluency in Putonghua; and (vii) a creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
