Independent Learning Centre Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Web Developer’) As a member of our dynamic technical team, the appointee will be responsible for (a) developing and maintaining in-house web applications; (b) setting up and supporting the Centre’s network, IT infrastructure, and system; (c) supporting and maintaining Windows/Linux servers, network infrastructure, network equipment, and firewall; (d) providing staff and students with technical advice; and (e) undertaking other tasks as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (ii) at least 1 year’s work experience in web-based application design and development; (iii) knowledge of and experience with HTML/CSS, SQL, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and PHP; (iv) hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining Windows/Linux servers; (v) strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; and (vi) excellent communication and organizational abilities. Having knowledge of networking and cloud technologies will be an advantage. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Responsibilities
