CUHK Business School Project Co-ordinator II, Office of EMBA (Chinese) Programme The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in Hong Kong in 1963, the CUHK Business School has gained world recognition of nurturing business leaders with immense contributions in the Asia Pacific. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with over 4,600 students from 20+ countries/regions, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 45,000 alumni around the world. The EMBA (Chinese) Programme is one of the degree-bearing executive education programmes offered by the School. Students of the EMBA (Chinese) Programme are mainly senior executives who normally travel to Hong Kong for classes from the Greater China region. To support the strategic development, the School is looking for a seasoned Project Co-ordinator II for the EMBA (Chinese) Programme and to support the partnership programme with CUHK Business School. Reporting to the Functional Manager and/or designated officer, the appointee will be mainly responsible for branding of the programme, partly responsible for enhancing the administration of academic content processes and delivery within the programme. This includes content planning & writing, course delivery, as well as organising co-curricular activities. Duties include: 1. Brand management, content creation & planning (a) developing and executing comprehensive branding and marketing strategies to enhance the programme’s visibility and reputation in the Greater China region; (b) creating, curating, and managing high-quality content for various platforms including the programme website, official WeChat account, video channels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media to drive engagement and enquiries; (c) planning and executing online and offline promotional events such as information sessions, admissions seminars, and alumni sharing sessions to achieve enrolment targets; (d) conducting market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, track trends, and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making for programme development and expansion; and (e) proactively exploring and establishing strategic partnerships with corporations, institutions, and industry organisations to build pipelines for high-quality candidates and enhance brand synergy. 2. Co-curricular activities and academic administration (a) leading and organising all co-curricular activities, including orientation, ceremonial events, company/alumni talks, and study trips; (b) supporting and facilitating student-led activities and societies; (c) overseeing the administration of academic content processes, ensuring smooth delivery of courses and seminars; and (d) collaborating with faculty members to support seamless course delivery and facilitate communication with students. 3. Stakeholder relations (a) developing strong relationships with academic staff and business partners in Chinese Mainland, and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders; and (b) maintaining and leveraging the extensive EMBA alumni network to strengthen the University’s brand and foster mutually beneficial relationships. 4. Policy and reporting, administrative support (a) establishing and executing programme policies, serving as secretary for programme-related committees and boards; (b) overseeing the preparation of budgets and annual reports; and (c) performing impromptu duties as assigned by the supervisor in relation to finance and office management. Working at flexible hours and business travel outside Hong Kong will be required. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, preferably with a Master’s degree; (ii) a minimum of 1 year’s relevant work experience in marketing, brand management, strategic planning, or programme management, preferably in education, executive training, or high-end services; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a proven track record in brand promotion, digital marketing, social media operation, and content creation; (v) strong market insight, analytical skills, and the ability to independently conduct market research and analysis; (vi) outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with business partners, students, alumni, and various stakeholders; (vii) strong sales acumen and a result-oriented mindset, with the ability to proactively explore markets and achieve targets; and (viii) knowledge of best practices and innovative trends in postgraduate education, especially in Chinese Mainland. Prior experience in a business school/executive programmes setting is highly advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in English and/or Chinese.
