Description
The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care Project Co-ordinator II (Programme) The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care (JCSPHPC) provides the only institutional platform in Hong Kong that integrates public health and primary care teaching and research. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (e.g. Master of Public Health, MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, MSc in Health Services Management, etc.), as well as executive education. To cope with the ever-growing demand for the postgraduate programmes, a high-calibre and experienced professional is now invited to join the Taught Postgraduate Programme Team of JCSPHPC. Reporting to the team head, the appointee will be responsible for (a) overseeing curriculum-related duties of the postgraduate programmes; (b) providing administrative support to the operations of postgraduate programmes and programme-related activities; (c) preparing and managing programme budget, conducting analyses, and compiling reports; (d) liaising with programme advisers, part-time instructors, internal partners, students, and external bodies; (e) supporting operations of short courses or training programmes; and (f) performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the team head. Working at flexible hours, including weekends, will be required. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in student or academic affairs of postgraduate programmes; (iii) good IT and computer applications skills, including MS Office, Zoom and Panopto, and hands-on experience in learning management systems (i.e. Blackboard, VeriGuide, etc.); (iv) strong interpersonal skills with a mature work attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and a service-oriented mindset; (v) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (vi) the ability to work independently with initiative and also as a team member. Immediate availability will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
