Hong Kong Institute of Diabetes and Obesity Project Co-ordinator II(s) The appointee(s) will report to the Director and work closely with other staff members to co-ordinate the research, education and care programmes in the Institute. Working on shifts and outreach activities during weekdays and weekends will be required. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, preferably in Health Sciences and Business Management; (ii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification work experience in project management; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iv) a proactive learning attitude, attentiveness to details, and excellent time-management skills to deliver assigned tasks in a timely and high-quality manner; and (v) good listening and communication skills to address the needs of stakeholders from different sectors and disciplines including students and professional staff. Having experience in organising courses, conferences, and large-scale events at universities, along with accounting skills, will be advantageous. Prior experience in report preparation is preferred. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
