Description
Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management Project Co-ordinator II The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with MIT-RAISE, co-created the AI Education for Students Project. With funding support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, it aims to cultivate AI literacy and competencies in students, empowering them to learn more effectively, use technology more discerningly, and innovate more creatively, hence better prepared for the future workplace and society. The Project engages schools to provide equitable access to quality AI learning for students in Hong Kong. The appointee will be responsible for (a) planning, organising and executing campaigns for school support and project promotion, such as co-ordinating the development of teaching and learning resources, training programmes, teacher workshops, student competitions, etc.; (b) liaising with internal and external parties to foster a close link with and a network amongst the Project, local primary and secondary schools, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution; (c) providing administrative and secretarial support to the Project, relevant committees and meetings; and (d) performing other tasks as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a recognised Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years’ work experience in administration or project management; (iii) a strong sense of responsibility, attention to details, the willingness to learn, and a positive and self-motivated work attitude; (iv) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Office and design software; (v) strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills; (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member; and (vii) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Responsibilities
