Description
Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Project Co-ordinator II The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin, and will be responsible for (a) assisting with daily office operations; (b) providing logistical support to undergraduate programmes and academic visits; (c) planning and co-ordinating teaching/ training programmes for students and doctors; (d) liaising with internal and external bodies; (e) providing administrative and secretarial support to professors/ supervisors; (f) handling procurement, payment and book-keeping; and (g) performing any ad-hoc activities as assigned by senior management. He/ She may be required to work beyond normal office hours and during weekends as necessary. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; (ii) at least 3 years’ relevant work experience, preferably with experience in co-ordinating undergraduate programmes in tertiary institutions; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) strong problem-solving and organisational skills; (v) good interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (vi) the ability to multitask, work independently and proactively under tight deadlines; and (vii) hands-on knowledge of computer applications. Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
