Description
Institute of Environment, Energy and Sustainability Project Co-ordinator II The appointee will be responsible for (a) handling financial tasks such as preparing financial reports and processing requests from projects under the Institute; (b) facilitating internal and external communication affairs of the Institute; (c) assisting with website maintenance and content updates; (d) assisting in the management of research projects; (e) handling documentation work; and (f) organising research activities and promotional work. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Communication, or related disciplines from a recognised institute/university; (ii) a basic understanding of administrative positions; (iii) experience in Finance/Accounting (such as handling documents, creating budget sheets, demonstrating familiarity with the procurement process, and communicating with the Finance Office, etc.); (iv) experience in data and image processing softwares (including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut, CapCut, Adobe Audition, Canva, etc.); (v) the ability to draft basic documents such as proposals; (vi) a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and attentiveness to detail; (vii) good communication and interpersonal skills; and (viii) fluency in English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua). Having knowledge of website updating (such as using WordPress) and experience in event management are advantageous. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
