Description
Department of Social Work Project Co-ordinator II The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to admissions matters of the BSSc Programme in Social Work (e.g. co-ordinating promotional activities and arranging admission interviews) and departmental operations (e.g. co-ordinating conference grant applications and annual meetings); (b) organising outbound student activities (e.g. study tours); (c) managing scholarship matters; (d) liaising with internal and external parties; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned. Applicants should have/be (i) a good Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; (ii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iii) outstanding organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; (iv) the ability to work independently and in a team; and (v) detail-oriented. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Applicants are advised to submit copies of certificates showing that they have obtained the academic qualifications stated above. Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
