Description
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Sports Medicine and Health Sciences Centre Project Co-ordinator II The appointee will provide a wide variety of administrative support to the Sports Medicine Team and will work in the general office at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Duties include (a) organising sports and community events, including co-ordinating with vendors, overseeing event staff, managing budgets, planning logistics, and arranging all details to ensure successful events; (b) providing administrative support to postgraduate programmes and certificate courses; (c) providing administrative and secretarial support to an athletic training association; and (d) performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s). Working beyond normal office hours or at weekends will be required occasionally. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience; (iii) a positive work attitude, and good interpersonal and communication skills; (iv) excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently; and (v) strong attentiveness to detail. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
