Description
Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Project Co-ordinator II The appointees will be responsible for (a) organising training and educational activities; (b) handling recruitment of fellowship programmes; (c) liaising with programme organisers, collaborators, sponsors, teachers, students and external professional bodies; (d) providing administrative and secretarial support; and (e) performing other ad hoc duties as assigned by senior management. The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin, and will be required to work beyond normal office hours or during weekends. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science, Marketing, Event Management, or related disciplines; (ii) at least 3 years’ relevant work experience; (iii) an excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (v) strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills; (vi) the ability to multitask, and work both independently and in a team; (vii) a customer-oriented work attitude; and (viii) hands-on knowledge of computer applications. Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
