Zhizhen School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences Project Co-ordinator II The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in the undergraduate programme administration, including admission, programme operation, student academic matters and enquiries; (b) co-ordinating and planning events/projects of the School, including conferences, visitor programmes, outreach activities, seminars and workshops; (c) providing administrative and secretariat support to boards/committees/work groups and academic staff; (d) assisting in the daily office operation; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned. Working beyond normal office hours or at weekends may be required occasionally. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) at least 2 years' post-qualification relevant work experience, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) exceptional problem-solving, interpersonal communication and organisational skills; (v) good competency in IT, including Microsoft 365; (vi) a self-motivated work attitude with a strong sense of responsibility; and (vii) the ability to work independently and closely as a team. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
