School of Architecture Project Co-ordinator II The School of Architecture at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a world-class, research-led and professionally connected learning environment. We embrace innovative approaches to architectural education and cross-disciplinary research that impact on society and the profession. We are now seeking an outstanding Project Co-ordinator to join the School’s administration team. The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to research development, grant applications, research outputs and projects; (b) handling programme and course administration, including programme planning and budgeting, admission, student assessment, programme promotion and publications; (c) organising student and research activities, such as reviews, conferences, seminars, lectures and exhibitions; (d) serving as Secretary of relevant committees; (e) liaising with internal and external units and clients; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned by the Director and/or his delegate. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience at tertiary institutions, preferably in programme administration or event organisation; (iii) good interpersonal and communication skills, and an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word-processing; (v) a strong sense of responsibility; (vi) a diligent, mature, self-motivated and well-organised work attitude; and (vii) independence and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
