  • Min. 8 years of experience in contract management in railway/metro electrification and ancillary construction works, and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in claims preparation, dispute resolution, and cost control
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, contract management software, and project documentation tools

Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, this role focuses on exercising the commercial, contractual and administrative functions of the project.

The responsibilities include: -

  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor, plan and manage project cash flow by tracking all cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient funding is available throughout the project cycle.
  • Progress Claims & VO submission: Prepare and format project claims in accordance with the contractual requirements. Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to ensure the Project Manager prepares and submits monthly progress claims and supports in negotiating variation order (VO) claims to align with project progress and financial forecasts.
  • Commercial Support & Administrative duties: Provide comprehensive commercial support to project operations, including the coordination of project-related administrative matters. This involves maintaining accurate documentation, overseeing documents control and ensuring a systematic filing system is in place for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Payroll & Subcontractor Payments: Oversee the preparation and submission of the project payroll, ensuring accurate and on-time manner. Track and verify subcontractor and vendor payment claims, ensuring compliance with contract terms and payment schedules.
  • Recruitment & Permit Applications: Assist in the recruitment process for the project manpower, from coordinating interviews to onboarding. Handle necessary work permit applications and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements.
  • Support and participate in bidding / operation administrative and documentation exercise. Compiling of all the bidding price, schedule of rate and costing as part of the data logging process for future data analytic and library update.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
