Location: Børdalen (Onsite, no rotation) Start Date: 01.12.2025 End Date: 01.09.2026 Overview We are seeking an experienced MC Lead (Mechanical Completion Lead) to join the project team at Børdalen. The MC Lead will be responsible for coordinating all Mechanical Completion (MC) activities at site in accordance with the project plan, ensuring that all MC deliverables meet technical, HSE, and quality requirements. This role acts as the key interface between MC, engineering, and other project disciplines. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and follow up all MC activities according to the project schedule. Clarify and resolve Technical Queries (TQs). Ensure all documentation for Mechanical Completion is finalized. Ensure Red Line Mark-Ups are complete, including P&IDs and SCDs. Issue Completion Certificates and manage handover to Commissioning. Serve as the link between MC and the engineering organization. Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and suppliers. Support engineering, construction, and vendors on MC-related issues. Participate in punch-out of deliveries from vendors and subcontractors. Verify and approve MC documentation from suppliers and update relevant systems. Implement, monitor, and report on MC activities according to plan. Ensure HSE targets are met within the scope of responsibility. Maintain awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Proactively seek improvements in project cost efficiency and progress. Identify, communicate, and follow up deviations between design and installation. Follow up and close punch lists within relevant discipline. Report progress and issues to the Site Manager. Ensure all relevant information is updated in project systems. Support commissioning activities when required. Qualifications Technical college or engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in MC activities within oil & gas projects, preferably offshore and/or Power from Shore. Solid understanding of MC processes, project coordination, and use of completion systems (e.g., PIMS). Good multidisciplinary understanding and experience with system-oriented completion. Knowledge of relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, and IEC. Personal Qualities Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented with strong execution capability. Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and organizations. Motivational and inspiring, fostering a strong team spirit. Confident as a coordinator, driver, and leader. Strong focus on HSE and quality in all work activities.
