Description:

Camarco is growing fast following our recent acquisition by APCO in 2023, and technology is one of our major growth areas. We are therefore looking to expand our Technology sector team with a Project Consultant to support that growth.
Camarco is a leading corporate, political, and financial communications consultancy which works with clients to help them communicate with critical stakeholders so they can meet their business and social objectives and enhance their valuations.
Our multi-disciplined, approach to communications covering financial PR, corporate communications, and public affairs helps our clients receive the best possible advice to protect and enhance their market value.
The team’s clients, which are UK-based and international, and cover both private/VC-backed and public companies, include some of the most exciting growth-stage tech innovators in areas such as AI, deeptech, medtech, biotech, climatetech, and fintech. The team also supports Venture Capital funds directly.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Consultant, you will have a platform to learn, grow, and hone your skills in communications, working beside some of the most experienced personnel in the industry. To be successful with this role you must be proactive, conscientious, and enthusiastic, and demonstrate a keenness to learn and develop your career within APCO.
Previous experience in Tech PR is not necessary, although the successful candidate will be expected to show an understanding of business and an interest in the tech sector, both in the UK and in other countries, including key issues, media environment, and the political landscape. . With this role, you will develop skills that will enable you to interpret and analyse financial statements and financial results, the basics of private/venture capital and public company valuations, key issues relating to the reputation of the companies and what impacts their growth, and the the political agenda, picking out key messages and understanding how to communicate to key stakeholder audiences, and who those audiences are.
