Description
International Airport of Heraklion, Crete S.A. is currently seeking a: Project Control Engineer Role responsibilities: Accountable for monitoring and reporting on all matters related to the budgets of the Technical Division, with particular emphasis on monthly payment requests, the Division’s overall budget, and the management of Variation Orders (VOs). Prepares reports, collaborates with other company departments, communicates with key external stakeholders — such as the Constructor and the Independent Engineer — and participates in relevant meetings and workshops. Monitors and manages the budget of the Division. Prepares future financial forecasts for the Division. Prepares and updates cost-tracking reports for the internal expenditure of the Technical Division. Monitors the Main Contractor’s monthly progress payment certificates. Organizes and maintains up-to-date technical, financial and contractual project records (digital & physical). Contributes to the preparation of financial reports, presentations and KPI dashboards. Participates in the development of CapEx / OpEx plans and supports budget revisions and financial forecasts of the Division. Collaborates with the Finance, Procurement and ICT departments to ensure alignment of the project’s financial and technical data. Requirements: University degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mining/Metallurgical or related field). A postgraduate degree in Economics or an MBA is considered an asset. 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Control, Cost Management or Financial Reporting within technical or construction projects. Preferred experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. Preferred experience with ERP or Project Management systems (SAP, Primavera P6, MS Project). Excellent command of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, reporting). Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken). Good understanding of progress certification procedures and approval workflows within technical organizations. Competencies: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Organization and communication skills.
