Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description Our Energy & Natural Resources team in Paris is looking for a Senior Project Controls Manager to work on exciting developments in the Energy and Natural Resources sector and continue to grow our business in France. We are looking for a professional in Scheduling with additional experience in Risk Management. The role will be based from our Paris office, however we are willing to work with candidates who have a preference for another location in France. Key accountabilities: Build lasting relationships with our customers through solid performance delivering the Turner & Townsend ways of working. Deliver Scheduling and Risk Management services on clients projects in the Energy & Natural Resources sector. Help our customers to deliver the outcomes they need by working with project managers, cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines, establishing progress and cost monitoring methods, producing project control reports and providing performance analysis and recommendations for our clients. The Project Controls Manager will work as part of our Project Controls team on commissions across France. Commissions will vary from large multi–year frameworks to shorter periods of advisory support and the individual should be prepared to be part of a large team or act as the key day to day contact point with the client. Potentially, management of a team of Project Control Engineers and Senior Project Control Engineers Candidates should be flexible to work at client locations and support our wider European activities when required. Qualifications Previous experience working in a project controls environment on a major project or programme within the Energy, Natural Resources and Decarbonation sectors. In order to be able to carry out the duties of the role as required, candidates will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding/experience of the following: P6 /MS Project/ equivalent schedule development and administration, Risk Management. Knowledge and experience in Quantitative Risk Assessments in a plus. Progress updating, Estimating & Cost Engineering/Control, Commercial assurance, Change control, Baseline management Reporting. You will be expected to be numerate and computer literate, highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, planning software such as Primavera or MSP and utilizing reporting databases. You will also be familiar with financial/procurement systems such as Oracle and SAP and web-based project control tools. Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience or previous proven experience in a project control environment. PCM’s should be proactive, self-starters with well-developed communications and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in French and English.
