Are you an experienced Project Control Officer with a strong background in supporting enterprise-level projects and coordinating project governance? This hybrid role (3 days onsite in Toronto , 2 days remote) offers the opportunity to work alongside project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery through strategic coordination, tracking, and documentation.
Extension Term: Up to 2 extensions (max 152 days each) under existing SOW terms.
Our client is looking for a Project Control Officer for a contract term of 8 months, where you will be responsible for maintaining project documentation, creating dashboards and reports, tracking risks, and facilitating key project meetings. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be critical in managing core project workflows and ensuring compliance with project governance standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have:

  • 7–10 years’ experience coordinating and supporting enterprise projects
  • Expertise in collaborating with PMs and escalating issues, identifying risks, and ensuring timely document delivery
  • Proven ability to develop project dashboards and reporting summaries
  • Experience in scheduling/facilitating meetings and maintaining project logs
  • Familiarity with legacy systems and document repository oversight
  • Solid knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice to Have:
Experience with project tools like MS Project, Planview, or Jira
Understanding of core project management concepts (scope, cost, risk, stakeholder roles)
Experience with SCRUM or Agile team coordination
️ Familiarity with public sector legacy/mainframe systems
