Description

Sandis is currently looking for a Project Control Specialist to join our team at our Campbell or Oakland Office. This role will champion project health by helping maintain project execution alignment with contracted scope, fee, and schedule expectations for payment of invoices. Why you will love it here: * Professional development, training, and mentorship * Comprehensive benefits package * Amazing teams of supportive and hard-working professionals Responsibilities: * Review of accounts receivable list, focusing on AR aged 45 days + * Contact clients to understand the status of our invoices and the expected timing of payment * Schedule meetings with Project Managers to discuss weekly project progress, and coordinate on the need for and follow up of additional service agreements/change orders * Reporting at-risk projects to Operations * Assist Project Managers in completion of billing reports, including special billing instructions and notations * Assist Project Accountant in translating Project Manager billing instructions * Coordinate with Project Managers to seek approval for the write off or held WIP of any project-related billings * Assist Project Managers with close out of projects upon project completion Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or engineering preferred * 2+ years of experience with project planning, coordination, operations, process, systems, management and/or project accounting & finance desired * Familiarity with LiquidPlanner and Ajera preferred * Familiarity with Microsoft Office * Excellent communication and writing skills * Experience working in energy & utility, construction, or engineering preferred Sandis Benefits: * Competitive salaries, end-of-year bonuses, and 401k * Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance, including life and long-term disability * Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for health care, parking and transit, and dependent care expenses * Starting paid time off at 24 days – 16 PTO and 8 paid Holidays * 3 days paid bereavement; 10 days paid jury duty * In-office coffee and snacks * Education reimbursement and professional license program, paid annual dues for professional and societal organizations Sandis is a professional services corporation specializing in civil engineering (Land Development Design), traffic engineering, land surveying, and planning, but we are much more than the services we offer.
